Homemade Spring Play

Spring is here! Time to break out the shorts and go outside to play.
Some of my girls favorite out door activities are blowing bubbles and drawing on the
side walk with chalk. It's even more fun for them when they are the ones
making the bubbles and chalk!

Homemade Bubbles -
1/2 cup liquid dish soap - I use the cheap stuff
2 tbsps of glycerin OR light corn syrup
5 cups of water

Mix it all together and you can add food coloring for even more fun!

Sidewalk Chalk
1 cup of plaster of paris
1 cup of water
Tempera Paint in colors of your choice
molds - you can use various items like paper cups, tp holders, and
sand toys (the little molds for the sand when you are playing at the beach!)

This is so easy - mix the water and plaster of paris then add the paint
until you have your desired color.

Pour mix into molds and let dry.

Yep, that's it!
