Science Experiment: Ice Cream


Video 1: Ice Cream Science Experiment Instructions





Squishy Ice Cream Materials:

1/2 c. full-cream milk
1T sugar
1t vanilla
1 large zip-lock bag
1 small zip-lock bag
2c crushed ice
6T salt

Steps:

  1. Mix the milk, sugar, and vanilla in the small bag, seal and shake!
  2. Mix the ice and salt in the bigger bag.
  3. Put the small bag inside the big bag.
  4. Squish them together for 10 min or so.
  5. Eat!

Our results:

We used almond milk rather than cow's milk. It was delicious! We only had to squish the ice cream for about 7 minutes. It was so cold, we wrapped the bags in dish towels to protect our hands.
