I admit it; I'm a horrible pet owner. I have two 9 year old labs, and, before today, I'd never brushed their teeth. The ASPCA suggests providing "hard, safe chew toys that allow your dog’s teeth to be cleaned by the natural process of chewing."
This week, we received two Nutri-Vet Dental Chew Balls from Best Pet Health. The dental chew balls help clean teeth, condition gums, and reduce bad breath. Our labs loved the balls. They're made from a flexible, durable rubber, are covered with bristles, Denta-Knobbies(TM), to help remove food debris, and have small holes where you can apply the doggie toothpaste that comes with the balls.
Initially, as you can see in the video below, I put too much of the toothpaste in the holes. You really only need a small amount. I was pleased to discover the balls will be great for adding other treats as well (peanut butter, cheese whiz, cream cheese, etc.), because they're much easier to clean than other similar toys.
This is a great alternative to using a doggie toothbrush!
Best Pet Health is giving our Readers a Discount of
50% off the Chew-Balls (large or small). The code is CHWBLL50
They ship to USA for $5.95. If someone orders $45 or more the shipping is on them!

Thank you for reviewing our product. I'm glad the dogs (especially the yellow lab) liked it! You may also want to give it to them outside so you don't have to mop afterwards. Here is a link to the chew balls where you can read the instructions and the ingredients for the dental gel. http://www.bestpethealth.com/products/Dental-Chew%252dBall-Kit.html. It's available in two sizes.
This would be great, sometimes its a struggle to get my 88 lb dog to hold still while I brush his teeth.
I didn't know a toy like this existed. Thank you for the review.
That is awesome!!! My dad and step-mom's miniature pincer needs that!!! I don't know if she would actually play with it though, because she's picky about the toys he plays with.
I like it very much!
