Who was the Best Smallville Romance?

     On Smallville, Clark Kent has had a number of romantic flings, his most notable being with Lois Lane, Lana Lang, and Chloe Sullivan. I loved all three of them because they were all so different. Lana being his first love, Chloe was his best friend, and we all know he ended up with Lois Lane.

    One of the most important and dramatic relationships of the series, Lana is a superheroine who fights to preserve life. Lana is Lex Luthor's ex-wife and Clark Kent's first love. She grew up a mile away from Clark, who admired her from afar for years. Clark finally asks her out in highschool and she becomes an important part in his life. In Season 3 "Exile," Lana Lang tries to bring Clark back to Smallville after he heads to Metropolis under the influence of the red kryptonite ring. ("Exile" Season 3, Ep. 1)

   Chloe, whose relationship with Clark is one of the longest and most complicated in the series, is Clark's best friend and hides an unrequited love for Clark. She is Lois Lane's cousin and first met Clark in eight grade. In Season 3 "Whisper,"  Chloe and Clark patch their rocky relationship after Clark discovers that Chloe has been helping Lionel Luthor uncover information about him in exchange for a job at the Daily Planet. Is this the sign of a strong relationship?("Whisper," Season 3, Ep. 10

   A slowly developed relationship over the years; from complete strangers to romantic lovers, Lois Lane is a journalist for the Daily Planet. After five years of friendship with Clark, they fall in love and she becomes Clark Kent's fiancee.  She first appears in Season 4 "Crusade," when she arrives in Smallville to investigate the death of her cousin Chloe. She meets Clark for the first time when he falls from the sky and is found naked in a corn field. She wraps a red blanket around him (iconic for his future cape) and begins their relationship. ("Crusade" Season 4, Ep. 1)

Remember when I told you about the new web show High Drama Season 2? Well episodes 6-10 are up including opening night!
I still can't believe this show isn't on t.v.. Watching these highschool kids takes me back. My mom was very practical and wanted me to take practical classes and be involved in practical activities. I was in ROTC and Debate club - oh joy. It wasn't until I was a senior that I took drama and it was so much fun. Thinking back, I should have had more fun in highschool. I never went into the military and while I'm sure my debate skills work great on my 3 yr old, I never became a lawyer. Watching these kids have so much fun makes me smile.

I'm hooked on this show. Ali had to deal with laryngitis, Jackie,and Leanna lost their car in the mall parking lot while Jackie was trying to learn how to pick up boys, they got their college admission letters - well some of them, and of course opening night. My heart was really touched when the director had a talk with Tony.

I wonder what they are all going to do now. Being so young they have the whole world in front of them and even though Cameron is lost, I have a lot of hope for him.

If you haven't watched this show, I highly suggest it. My 5 yr old watched it and told me, 'wow, not all teenagers are brats' lol.

Love this Series!! High Drama 2

I recently came across this show online."High Drama 2" is an original web series only available on TheWB.com. I didn't even know there were show exclusive to the web. This show is called High Drama and I honestly can't believe this isn't on t.v.! This is the 2nd season. "High Drama 2" follows the theater company of Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as they put on their best show yet: The Wizard of Oz.
I was so hooked by the end of the 1st episode. I had already decided who I wanted for which parts. I took Drama my Senior year of high school which was ions ago, and this show brought back so many fun memories. I was rooting for certain kids. My favorites are best friends Leanna and Jackie. The director had such a hard time picking a scarecrow too so it came down to two. Dave is definitely my favorite.
